All Levels - Yoga Class with Claire Markos In-Person
Classes will be held every 2nd and 4th Saturday and for the most part take place from 9 am to 10 am. (Check out website for any changes that may occur.)
This class welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis! We'll explore a variety of yoga postures, with modifications offered to suit all abilities.
The class will focus on:
* **Building strength and flexibility:** We'll move through a series of postures that target different muscle groups, improving your overall strength and range of motion.
* **Improving balance and coordination:** Yoga poses challenge your balance, and this class will help you develop greater stability and control.
* **Deepening your breath:** Breathwork (pranayama) is an essential part of yoga. We'll incorporate mindful breathing practices throughout the class to enhance your focus and relaxation.
* **Reducing stress and tension:** Yoga is a fantastic way to unwind and de-stress. This class will guide you through movements and breathwork that promote relaxation and inner peace.
No matter your experience level, this class will provide you with a safe and supportive environment to explore your yoga practice.
**What to bring:**
* A yoga mat
* Comfortable clothing you can move in
* A water bottle (optional)
**Note:** This class is appropriate for most fitness levels. If you have any injuries or limitations, please consult with your doctor before participating
About Claire:
From the moment of my first yoga experience, I realized it wasn’t something I had to ask myself to do. It was different from my other passions, which can require inspiration in advance. Yoga is a source of inspiration. I'm excited by the philosophy and history of Yoga, which by learning we pay respect to the earliest practitioners, who wanted to share the magic of yoga. Continuing to learn and practice has been a source of joy that extends to the rest of my life. My classes are meant to be fun and interactive. Feel free to ask questions and to laugh at ourselves! In my teaching, I feel it is important to emphasize that yoga continues beyond asana, and enables one to recognize the True Self that is the same in each of us. Namaste!
