Land Navigation Basics

Land Navigation Basics In-Person

Join us for this fun familiarization of basic land navigation skills with World Traveler & Librarian KJ MacKenzie.  Whether through the forest or on the highways of the world, the general principles of locating and moving through routes from point A to point B are the same. Our focus in this class will be on Road maps and Topographical map use, as well as the general instruction on the use of a compass. This hour long period of instruction is indoors with a brief outdoor component, weather permitting; and is open to adults over 18. So whether you are new to map reading or an old hat looking for a refresher, request a spot.

Registrations are required.
